We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a driven Catering Manager to join the team at Le Pré Catelan our centre set on the beautiful Opal Coast from February to October.
Le Pré Catelan is a converted 19th Century hotelsituated on the Opal Coast. Only a 10 minute walk from the charming resort of Hardelot with beautifulsandy beaches
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the catering operation, catering for up to 90 guests and 14 staff.
As Catering Manager you will be responsible for adhering to all Health and Safety regulations within the catering environment. You will also line-manage the entire Catering Team and have the chance to remain hands on, taking control of food preparation during service.
Your main responsibilities will include the management of stock, catering budget and purchasing. This will involve ensuring all orders are placed and received on time, communicating with French suppliers when necessary to chase up orders; ensuring the catering budget is being effectively managed and that stock is rotated effectively to prevent waste.
This is a fixed term contract from February to October 39hrs over 6 days a week. PGL offer a competitive wage, free on-site accommodation, food, uniform, and transportation from the UK.
