About Hotel Palarine

A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Chef to join our existing kitchen team of 3 Chefs and be responsible for preparing themed buffet dinners for both hotel and outside guests as well as assisting with preparation of Oriental dishes for Bambu Oriental Restaurant. You must be able to work with a menu plan within budget guidelines, be responsible for kitchen hygiene, ordering and stock control.
Previous catering experience would be advantageous however a great love of food and passion for cooking is more important as training will be given. Ideally, a recognised catering qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds Chef Qualification preferred.
Front of House Role
An important role to ensure our guests have a great holiday experience, serving food and drinks, clearing tables and some cleaning is involved. Other responsibilities include handling hotel reservations by telephone and email, dealing with tour operators, room allocation, guest arrivals and departures.
Previous experience within the hospitality industry would be preferable and some knowledge of Spanish advantageous but not essential.
