Chef for Black Diamond Lodge
We are looking for a Chef for Black Diamond Restaurant. Black Diamond has the reputation for the best food in Sainte Foy Station and have a top rating on Trip Advisor for the quality of our food and service.
The successful Chef must run the kitchen and monitor the work of others throughout the dinner service and be responsible for the success of the kitchen.
The Black Diamond Chef will run any section in the kitchen and must be competent with pastry. They are responsible for organsing the food ordering and menu development throughout the winter season.
Black Diamond has a team of five chefs and a front of house team of seven. We are known for our live music evenings in our bar - and have also renovated the indoor bar area to add a music stage a new improved sound system.
The Black Diamond Chef is one of the senior members of the kitchen staff, but must continue to develop their skills whilst working in Black Diamond. We ask them to give 100% commitment to restaurant success every time they are on duty. The decisions that the successful Chef makes in his or her role will impact the quality of food that the kitchen produces.
Like all members of the kitchen staff, the Chef must maintain high standards of health and safety, including personal hygiene and manage food preparation and organization in the kitchen. The Health and Safety standards are Black Diamond are vital to the successful operation of the kitchen.
The Chef will also be a mentor to younger and less experienced chefs within the team.
