The Bushcraft Company is a leading provider of outdoor education, offering residential trips to students across 9 secluded beautiful woodland estates, from Yorkshire to Kent, our outdoor jobs are all about a love of adventure, education, fun and of course the great outdoors. As an outdoor residential provider our season runs from the beginning of May - October we have schools come to our woodlands throughout this time. As a Field Chef you will be at the heart of our camps situated within our beautiful woodland estates, you will be responsible for preparing our delicious approved meals, catering for our residential students and staff members. We will teach you everything you need to know so no previous experience required, you will then go on to have a remarkable experience to cook in our outdoor kitchens, over our camp fires and use our outdoor pizza ovens. This is a hugely rewarding role and ability to inspire and introduce students to food giving them a truly inspiring wilderness experience they’ll never forget. Food is always the talking point of camp, so this role is cruical to making camp a success.

Under 21: £81.60 Average Day Rate For Residential Course
Over 21: £101.92 Average Day Rate For Residential Course
Over 25: £108.09 Average Day Rate For Residential Course
Selection & Appointment Process: Candidates will be required to complete The Bushcraft Company pre-camp training programme. All appointments are subject to satisfactory training attendance, references and enhanced DBS Status.
