Camp Leader Job Description

Guided by the camp directors, camp leaders play a key role in delivering First Hand Experiences themed weeks to children. The variety of outdoor, hands on activities will mean that no two weeks are ever the same. You must ensure that our high level of pastoral care is maintained and be responsible for safeguarding their Health and Safety throughout their time with us.

You will have experience of leading young people in a workshop, formal or informal education setting, perhaps as a former teacher or on other camps or as a leader of outdoor, arts or food learning workshops. However You do not necessarily need to come from an outdoor education background, or indeed a teaching background  as you will complete extensive in-house training, and mentoring before you work on a course.
