You will be assisting the Waterfront Manager in running the waterfront operation on a daily basis. This is a very diverse role with varying factors such as staff management through to health and safety to consider. You will be responsible for the safety of all the guests and staff on the beach, making sure the team are giving the best level of customer service and instruction possible. You will help the Waterfront Manager with staff training and ensure the team stay motivated.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a high level of safety for both staff and guests
- Support the Waterfront Manager in managing and motivating the waterfront team
- Oversee the waterfront operation
- Organise the staff on daily basis
- Help to train and develop staff
- Implement RYA and Mark Warner standards – ensure they are adhered to
- Assist with maintenance and upkeep of equipment
- Teach, drive the safetyboat, rig, launch and land equipment for guests
- Extra duties around resort where needed
Requirements
- Senior Dinghy and/or Windsurfing Instructor
- Safetyboat or Powerboat Instructor
- Intermediate Windsurf Instructor or Advanced Dinghy (desired)
- International Certificate of Competence
- First Aid Certificate
- UK/EU passport holder
- UK National Insurance number
- UK bank account
