Now recruiting Activity Instructors for 2023!
Our Woodland Adventure camp is set in a clearing with giant bell tents and a central open-sided dining tent with fire pit. Some of the on-site activities we offer are Climbing, Target Sports, Bushcraft, Axe throwing and Woodland Crafts.
What we’re looking for…
We need a small team of experienced Activity Instructors capable of delivering safe, effective & fun sessions. If you’re dynamic and have experience of working in outdoor adventure with young people, particularly primary aged children then we want you to apply!
We’re ideally looking for staff with the following:
- Rifles (NSRA) qualification
- GNAS/Archery GB qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Happy to assist with simple cooking tasks
Why work for Acorn?
All our staff participate in a comprehensive induction & training programme and will have the opportunity to complete pre-season training to gain NGB qualifications in different activities. We are also keen on promoting personal development and progression.
Package: National Minimum Wage with free meals (during group stays) and tented accommodation at a very small charge.
This camp is part of a larger Scout campsite with good basic fixed shower & toilet facilities. Guests will stay for either a full week or half week Mon - Fri so staff will not be required to remain living on site at weekends if they prefer not to.
All applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a permanent UK National Insurance number and a UK bank account. We will be unable to take your application further before they have been obtained. We are unable to apply for a work visa/permit on behalf of an applicant.
A current Enhanced DBS Check or overseas equivalent is required for successful applicants.
