Club Phokaia is an excellent place to work there is plenty to do near the resort and Turkey is a great, easy and cheap place to travel around.
Phokaia Beachclub resort itself is brilliant from windsurfing in the afternoon as we have strong winds come through the bay and if you like wake boarding we have flat water early morning and early evening and as staff we can use all the equipment on site for free. The swimming pool is Olympic size and a gym free to use for all staff as well. There are two different staff accommodations which are a short walk away and one other which is actually on the beach front all with air con and wifi.
In the local town of Foca we have loads of great food places that sell local fresh fish. We have a few local bars that really welcome Neilson staff, giving us great discount and play our own music and on a few nights have local bands playing too. We have four super markets which all sell a great variety of food and supplies.
We have a massive shopping centre that is just under an hour away with plenty of shops, bowling, cinema and restaurants. There is even a zoo that is under an hour away. If your looking at going on holiday you can get to Kushadi which is a really lively town full of bars and fake English brands, and there is a huge water park there too. Phokaia is a 5-hour journey away from two other Neilson resorts Seaside and Adakoy, which might seem far but are definitely worth the journey. Our nearest big city is Izmir which full of shops and bars also with a huge go karting track.
