Chalet Host

A demanding, hands on role, the chalet host will be working alongside the Chalet Manager in delivering 5 star service for up to 16 guests. We want to give the guests world-class hospitality service and you can be part of ensuring that each guest has a memorable stay.

Main Responsibilities

  • Service of breakfast, afternoon tea and formal evening meal
  • Housekeeping of all bedrooms and bathrooms and communal areas of the chalet
  • Communication with guests to ensure all queries are answered and any special requests are met at the earliest opportunity
  • General chalet maintenance – reporting issues to the chalet manager
  • Maintaining general hygiene, health and safety standards
  • Managing the chalet on the chalet managers day off
  • Assisting covering the driver duties when required (if you have a licence)

Package

Skills and Abilities Required

The chalet host role would suit individuals who has the following –

  • Previous background in guest relations, waiting and/or housekeeping, yachts, corporate/private hospitality, luxury travel
  • Available for the whole season – December until the end of April
  • UK/EU passport
  • An attitude whereby you go the extra mile
  • Excellent guest relations and interpersonal skills
  • Work independently as well as in a team
  • Good self-motivation
  • Organised, highly flexible and pro-active
  • Ability to remain calm, diplomatic and tactful under pressure
  • Excellent time keeping and reliability
  • Exceptional personal presentation
