As an Area Manager with Crystal Ski you are responsible for managing teams and staff operating in a number of different resorts, you’ll need great management and commercial skills to maximise customer service and sales to give our customers outstanding holidays, lead motivated teams and meet / exceed your targets.
You are responsible for the resort operations within your area, so strong communication skills and a drive for high standards and excellent service are a must. This is not an office based role – you will be based in resort and expected to spend your time in your resorts monitoring quality and standards, and training and developing your staff,
We need people who really know the industry inside and out, people with proven management ability, who know how to motivate, inspire and lead a team to success, and ultimately, be capable of ensuring our customers will want to return time and time again. Area Managers work long hours, deal with difficult situations and must have a passion for ski.
Applicants for this role must also have experience in working to targets and working with budgets. They will be motivated by results and be able to instil this enthusiasm throughout the area. The role encompasses people management, problem solving, accountancy / numeracy skills, IT skills, communication skills and masses of organisational ability.
Proven previous management experience.
Proven experience within a target sales environment where you have worked to individual and team set targets.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic and positive manner.
Flexible working approach with the ability to adapt to any situation.
Second language to a conversational level in French, German, Spanish or Italian.
Previous experience of work in the travel industry.
Ability and confidence to drive in a ski resort environment.
