Are you looking for a role that gives you:
• flexibility
• a varied workload
• ski time
• a chance to work in a slightly different role to others that are out there?
Have you done a season before and looking for a step up, or a different direction? F&P Travel are looking for a self-motivated, organised superstar to look after our self-catered operation.
We are offering the right candidate a generous package with ski time, independent work but with the support of a resort team and manager. Your main area of responsibility will be looking after four self-catered properties – welcoming guests in to resort, delivering ski passes, being their first port of call for any queries or problems, booking restaurants, lessons, massages etc. You will co-ordinate a team of cleaners on changeover day. You will manage our self-catered upgrades – ordering and delivering these to the chalets, invoicing and stock taking. There will be property management duties with this as well, ensuring all are well maintained and managing any serious problems to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. You will act as duty manager on the Resort Manager’s day off, providing communications and support to the catered chalet teams, ensuring things run smoothly. There is an administrative element to the role as well; supporting the Resort Manager to complete weekly accounts, dealing with suppliers, reconciling payments taken for ski passes and upgrades and working with the UK team to ensure all spending is accounted for. There will be a driving shift per week so a full, clean drivers license is essential. Most importantly we are looking to build a team that works well together both in the chalets and out on the slopes. Sixteen years of experience has proved to us that this team work is key to the success not only of F&P but also your season. We are also looking for team members who share our passion for the environment and who are looking to help us achieve our environmental goals for this winter, if this sounds like something you are interested in being involved with then please get in touch.
We are looking for a hard-working team to maintain our high standards with masses of enthusiasm for the job in hand, a love for the mountains, an eye for detail and a professional attitude. We value our staff hugely as we recognise they are fundamental in ensuring all of our guests enjoy every aspect of their holiday. We are firm believers in looking after your staff and that a happy team makes for happy guests! We therefore think providing the following is essential: generous staff accommodation, a competitive package, more skiing time than most, amongst numerous other perks you get from working in small team such as ours.
Requirements for position:
At least two seasons' experience working for a chalet company
Over 23 years of age - this is due to insurance requirements
D1 Driving licence & Driver CPC, RosPA qualification or two years driving experience is highly desirable
Strong organisational and time management skills
Interest in property management and customer services
Eligible to work in France, although we do accept UK passport holders and can assist with the visa process
