The bar is the focal point of the hotel during lunch times, at the end of a day on the slopes, and before and after dinner. Our bar team are responsible for creating a lively, friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests to enjoy. You will need to be hardworking, confident and have an outgoing personality in order to provide excellent customer service and increase sales and revenue, encouraging guests to spend time at the bar. Accurate accounting, high hygiene standards and waste minimisation are essential in order to run a profitable bar.
Our bars are essential in generating revenue so there are some high targets to achieve. That's why we're not just looking for bar staff to pull pints but for charismatic bartending professionals who not only provide an exceptional service but who will also play a key part in driving food and beverage sales by creating tempting cocktails, recommending wines from our extensive wine list and giving our guests the perfect pour.
To apply for a bar position you must have proven bartending experience with a good understanding of wines, beers, spirits, cocktails and coffees. You'll be able to demonstrate the need for cleanliness, stock control and the need to record wastage and breakages. With an array of customer service experience, you'll love working behind a bar, chatting to guests and be passionate about providing a professional bartending service. You must also be available for the full season from the end of November to the end of April.
