We are a young, foodie chalet company based in the last remaining authentic French village in the incredible 3 Valleys, St Martin de Belleville.
Ski Talini offers really special catered chalet holidays with a real emphasis on fantastic food and personalised service in an unpretentious relaxed atmosphere. Our chalets are truly luxurious, each offering a slightly different atmosphere to our guests, but all are gorgeous mountain hideaways, all in the heart of St Martin.
Talini chefs and hosts create the ultimate dinner party every evening, each coming to us with excellent experience to deliver truly amazing and interesting menus in a professional, relaxed and unpretentious setting. Always open to new ideas and thriving on input from our team and guests, our team have free rein in the chalet and a generous budget to totally wow our guests.
Our hosts are responsible for the overall Talini experience, creating a chalet atmosphere in which guests can really kick back, relax and enjoy their ski holiday. Demonstrating a real ease with people, you will thrive on delivering a really special holiday from the moment our guests walk in to the chalet, taking pride in ensuring the smooth running of the whole chalet through great organisation and proactivity.
Our chalet host role is predominantly NON-cooking, but an interest in food is essential and you will work closely with the chef, helping out and cooking breakfast for guests once a week

We love getting out on the hill and it’s important to us that you do too. Whether you are a seasoned powder monkey or a keen beginner we will all work together to ensure that you make the most of your season. As part of our small team you are definitely not just a number and we make sure you have everything you need to run one of our lovely chalets whilst making the most of all that life in the mountains has to offer.
The team are absolutely key to us - it is what guests value most about their stay with Ski Talini, as our direct feedback and reviews on TripAdvisor testify. We go to great lengths to find a team who work well together both in resort and on the mountain and who approach the season with enthusiasm for the job, professionalism and a love of the mountains - all of which were key to Talini's beginnings.
Our positions also suit couples, potentially with a chalet chef, driver or resort manager
- Applicants must be fluent in English, have a UK National Insurance number, a UK bank account as well as previous UK employment and must be keen to ski or snowboard, or at least learn!

Day in the life of a chalet team
07h15 – Arrive at your chalet (via the bakery) to set up breakfast, and begin prep for the day
08h00-10h00 – serve breakfast to guests before they head off skiing, continue prep for the evening. Full hotel-style chalet clean. Leave afternoon tea laid out for guests to help themselves to.
11h00-17h00 – Leave your chalet and get out on the hill for the day!
17h00 – return to your chalet and prepare for children’s tea at 18h00 (if applicable), and set the scene in your chalet for the evening.
19h30 – Canapés and aperitifs
20h00 – Dinner service: 3 courses followed by cheese board , petit fours and coffee
