We are now looking for an outstanding Maintenance Officer/ Driver.
You must be exceptional at fixing things and have driving experience in a working enviroment.
You are likely to be a tradesman and will manage everyday maintenance in all of our properties. You must have a driving licence and have driven for work – IE driving a works van or a company car.
You will be incharge of the maintenance in all of our accomodation. You will aslo be involved in client driving, bar work, cleaning and hosting.
Most importantly, you’ll be a team player and extremely flexible and willing. Your spoken English must be fluent and some French would be a positive advantage.

Our main chalet and base, The Auberge sur la Montagne, an 8-bedroom boutique chalet-hotel in the small hamlet of La Thuile, in the French Alps. We are a 4-minute drive from the ski resort of Sainte Foy Tarentaise, 12 minutes from our chalets in Brévières and 15 minutes from Val d’Isère, Tignes and Villaroger/Les Arcs.
ALL AT SKI, has portfolio of 14 catered and self-catering apartments and chalets in and around Ste Foy Tarentaise, and Tignes.
Our clients are primarily English or French speakers and internally we work in English. For the coming ski season, we will employ a team of 12 - 14.
These will be your busiest weeks and you will need to work hard to ensure that your guests are happy and all the tasks are completed to a high standard.
You should be self-motivated and able and willing to work as hard as necessary to ensure that att maintenance is completed quickly and to a high standard. You should be friendly and outgoing. One of the strengths of a chalet holiday is its intimacy, and our guests are treated more as friends than clients. Indeed, by the end of the week, many will have become friends.
You should be practical, organised, have plenty of common sense and enjoy dealing with people. You will have maintenance, driving and hospitality experience.
You should be, first and foremost, a team player; helping others as needed to ensure that the organisation runs smoothly and guests’ needs are fully met. You should be friendly and outgoing. One of the strengths of our company is its personal service and attention to detail. We expect our staff to put themselves out to ensure that guests have a wonderful stay.
You should take a pride in all of your work .
You will be an ambassador for the company and dress and act accordingly at all times.
Ideally you should have a love for the mountains and be a keen skier/boarder or motivated to learn the skills throughout the season.
Fluent English is essential. A good level of French would be a major advantage, as would a full, clean driving license for manual gear change vehicles. A valid working visa for France is essential if you are not an EC passport holder.
The jobs will start in late December 2020 and finish during April or early May 2021.
