The person in this varied role will oversee all maintenance issues arising within Chalet-hotel, including but not limited to; dealing with any day to day maintenance issues, basic plumbing, electrics, carpentry, repairing broken items. Most importantly the maintenance person must deal with any guest maintenance requests as soon as they arise. The maintenance person will also be responsible for maintaining company vehicles.This role also involves assisting the chef in food preparation and kitchen cleaning. As the maintenance and driving part of the job will not be full time we require this person to have a flexible approach and ability to work within other departments as and when required to (e.g. bar, restaurant, ski fitting, housekeeping, kitchen).Working varied shifts, this position gives you good time on the slopes!DJ experience is a plus - if you have a love of music and ability to use DJ equipment part of your working hours could be spent playing music in the hotel bar!REQUIREMENTSYou must have some background knowledge and experience in general maintenance or a specific skill such as plumbing, electrics etc.You should be a confident driver, ideally used to the Alpine conditionsShould have a minimum 1 years driving experienceMust have a clean EU licenseMust have a flexible approach to workHOURS: Varied shifts, with 1 o 2 full days off per weekREMUNERATION:Competitive SalaryShared accommodationSeason Ski Pass: Paradiski (La Plagne + Les Arcs)Season Ski HireMealsTravel to France from the UK at the start of the seasonTravel to the UK from France on completion of the full season
