La Tania
La Tania is a pretty traffic free village nestling in the trees between Courchevel and Meribel and is home to a great seasonnaire community every winter. Both of these ski areas can be accessed by the 12 person high-speed gondola lift, which links to two high speed chairs – so working in La Tania gives you the whole of the Three Valleys to play in – either by taking a full area pass for the whole season, or with daily upgrades on your days off. The client accommodation is primarily in chalets which are situated just above the main village centre but there are also several tasteful apartment residences all offering on-piste location. Because there are so many chalets, the village welcomes a large team of (usually English) chalet hosts each year – many of whom return year after year. From an apres-ski point of view, the popular English run "Ski Lodge" is a lively venue with theme and event nights throughout the season for celebrations such as New Year and St Patrick's Day as well as the famous La Tania Charity Day which takes place at the end of the season. It is the base for most of the seasonnaires and offers “Happy Hour” each day and a number of events throughout the season and Chrome Bar which is situated next to the nursery slope, when it's busy it can be quite cosy and there's occasional live music and Euro Trash DJ'ing here a couple of times a week.
Ski Amis have 7 chalets in the resort and a team of 17 people including the resort manager – so you’re part of a great team there. We have chalets of varying sizes – with the 8 person chalet couples having driving duties as well, the standard chalet couple roles, premium service chalets and a large chalet where we employ 4 single staff.
