We are looking for a chef / baker to work in our flagship bakery in Salcombe as our instore baker.
We are paying £25,000 for 7 months work with free shared accommodation above the bakery. This is a fixed term position due to the seasonality of the area but contract extension is possible by negotiation.
From 1st April - 31st October it will be 6 days a week. Work will start at 5.30 am until 9.30am. School Easter Holidays / May half-term and the school summer holidays it will be 4am - 11am.
You will be responsible for the cooking of all morning goods, croissants, pain au chocolat etc as well as baguettes, pasties and sausage rolls. You will be responsible for traying up all goods ready for the next mornigs bake before you finish for the day.
We are looking for a chef with experience of working busy services. Ideally the candidate will understand the priciples of berad making and yeast action but full training will be provided.
