Bell Language and Activity Programmes are looking to recruit organised and responsible Activity Leaders and Houseparents for their Young Learner Courses to be held this winter in Kent.
Houseparents are responsible for the pastoral care of students. Duties will involve student supervision, leading daily meetings, house checks, managing pocket money as well as participating in activities and excursions with the students.
Essential: - Degree qualified or equivalent - Excellent communication skills - Counselling skills - Previous experience working with children/teenagers
Desirable: - Previous residential experience - Experience working in a pastoral setting
Activity Leaders will plan, prepare and lead sports and activities. They will also participate in activities being lead by other staff, assist on excursions and undertake pastoral duties.
Essential: - Keen interest in sports/drama/arts and crafts - Experience organising/supervising/leading activities or events - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Good team player
Desirable: - Previous experience working with children/teenagers - Residential experience - Sports coaching experience

Our Young Learner residential courses are tailored for overseas students ages 8-17 and run between December and January. We provide both staff and children with excellent premises and facilities and we offer accommodation, meals and professional development opportunities.
