An Important Part of The Bushcraft Company’s Operations Team is the Estate Logistical Operation Teams. Within these teams we have our Logistics Assistants which we are looking to recruit for our 2020 Season. Our Logistics Assistants provide a crucial support link between the Estate Managers and the Camp Teams.
A large part of the role involves driving a variety of vehicles on and off the road, so a full driving licence held for a minimum of one year is a must as well as previous experience driving vans and towing is desired but not essential.
Some responsibilities include:
- Movement of inbound and outbound food, equipment and customer luggage
- Light maintenance of company vehicles as well as routine checks
- Customer Transfers between pre-determined locations
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, driving vehicles on and off road, has a keen eye for detail and who is able to work off their own initiative when required. It is important that the applicant is eager to learn new skills as full training in off road driving, towing trailers off road and first aid is provided. A multitude of other inhouse training courses are available such as; safeguarding, manual handling, COSHH and more.
- Full Training provided for all roles, no bushcraft experience required.
- No uniform charges.
- Free pitch sites available on our staff camps for the full season.
- Good opportunities for progression in to other roles.
- Staff discount with selected outdoor company brands.
