What's everyone doing about their contract phones? I'm on orange & don't want to have to make monthly payments when I won't be using it abroad. Can I freeze it for 6 months? Anyone have any good tips?

My friend in dubai has her uk number linked with her dubai number. I think i'll do that. Going to get my phone unblocked so i can put a greek sim in. I don't want to lose my 'whatsapp'. I love it cus it lets me send voice messages, photos, videos & texts free to my friends that have the same app. Definitely going to get a greek sim. Having a uk sim u have to pay to even receive texts & phone calls costs a fortune! Can't believe i'm leaving 2 weeks mon! Have to do 12 hour shifts on the sat & sun before i go. It's going to be a killer, but will be worth it for the money. My suitcases weigh a ton! Gonna sling them & use a big wheeled sports bag type thing & have some stuff sent over. I'm worrying about the weight cus i won't be flying thomson as i'm flying out of season. It'll be like the magical mystery tour cus i'll be flying into athens first, then somewhere else ........ Can't bloody wait!!!

If u
don't get charged ur really lucky. I'm just going by my experiences.
All my family & friends get charged for receiving texts & calls from uk when
they're abroad as well. Maybe u'v got a really good package. I'm
getting really excited! Just had my call from resort & found out
about my accomm, etc. I'll be staying in falaraki. Just waiting to find
out my flight details, but know i'll be flying from heathrow

I'm glad u said that bout falaraki Leon! I'v never been there & have heard different opinions on it. Yeah, the woman who called was lovely & really helpful. I'm staying in a studio apartment on the main falaraki road. Seemingly tui have contracted a block of apartments & it will be a mixture of reps & admin in the block. Just had the e-mail. I fly out from heathrow on the morning of the 13th
