Is is possible to get a job as a ski instructor with a BASI ONE level qualification on a mountain in somewhere like Switzerland or Austria???

In short yes it might be possible with some schools, although most employers will ask for at least level 2 but may take on level one instructors in busy times. If you can get your level 2 fisrt it would really help.
This is certainly the case in Switzerland and I believe will be similar in Austria where the level 1 BASI is roughly equivalent to the Anwarter.

Hi,

After the modernisation BASI qualifcations run from Level 1 to 4

Level one only certifies you to teach on artificial slopes and is the equivalent to the old trainee instructor level. Liabilty will not cover you to teach on the mountain.
