UKSA's RYA Yachtmaster Power Theory, Prep & Exam Course is a comprehensive 14-day programme designed to prepare candidates for the RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore or Coastal (Power) Certificate of Competence. The course structure is as follows:
- Days 1-7: Yachtmaster Theory – classroom-based training covering navigation, meteorology, passage planning, and collision regulations.
- Days 8-12: Practical Preparation – five days of intensive on-water coaching, applying theory to practice and developing advanced boat-handling and leadership skills.
- Days 13-14: RYA Practical Examination – assessed by an independent RYA examiner, onsite at UKSA.
