Hi ppl,
So........all us newbies are in the same boat waiting to hear back from HB about our official start dates, travel / training info, our regions & specific campsite that we will be workin on!!
Oh, the suspense...................
Anyone who is waiting for their interview, GOOD LUCK!!!!
Just enjoy the experience
 For those of us who are waiting for more info, I don't think we will have much longer to wait. Apparently, HB start placing everyone at end of Jan.
 They've changed my earliest available date to March 13th now. I just hope I'm going out there then..........I can't wait!!
Does anybody know / have any idea where they will be working for their first season?
What is the 1 item you will take, that you can't live without?
(Mine gotta be my IPOD shuffle)
Who will be the first to reply to this post with their assigned HB details.............
Hopefully see some of you out there!!!!

Hey,
I'm only sending back my letter of agreement stuff now cause they sent me out the wrong paperwork and it wont get there until monday so im hoping this wont slow things down cause im dying to know where im going!! Have you heard yet??Do you have any idea what kind of travel arrangements they make...is it flight or boat?? Are you going over as a courier?? jj

Hiya JoJo,
I wouldn't worry too much honey, HB don't seem to be rushin with sortin allocations out. LOL
I'd ring up though in a few days time just to check they have received all your forms.
I am still waiting to get my e-training details, contract, allocation/travel details etc etc.
Rang up today, everything is still in progress. I hope to start mid march. I want France!!
Hopefully, it will be flight there. However, they sometimes do training I think which has been in Holland before. We may go by coach. They send ppl on ferries as well I believe! Who knows....shall wait and see.
At least it is all arranged for us and so all we have to do is pack!
I just want to know how much I can take in my case, cos if I'm goin by coach/ferry then we can take as much as we want.
Yeah, I'm goin as a courier. Can't remember....did you say you were a courier too?

Hey,
Yeh I'll be going as a courier can't wait!!I'm hoping for France to and since they gave me the language test im hoping there's a good chance!!I sent all my stuff back by registered post just to make sure it gets there!!
I havent a clue how im gonna mange this whole packing thing....there's just so much to bring!! and even if it is travel by ferry over I'll have to fly from Ireland so I';ll have the weight restriction there!!!
 Still where there's a will there's a way lol!!I'll start packing ealy and evntulay figure it all out!!

hi everyone im amanda,ive just been accepted by eurocamp to work in brittany in south of france as an area administrator..ive never lifed or worked abroad before and i am VERY nervous.
im a bit worried about a few things and wondered if anyone has worked for them before and could help me?? your accommodation is a super tent as im told.. *do they have beds or you sleep on the floor? *do they have running water and electric? *is the shower/toilet within the tent? im sorry just so undecided what to do for the best..i would approriate any help thankyou  |

Hey amanda!!
Tents have electricity but no running water so you have to use taps located around the capsite for cooking and then shower and toilet blocks aswell!The tents do have bed yes, if you go onto either the keycamp or eurocamp website you'll see pictures that will give yuo and idea of what there like if not the exact model!!!
