Hi, i got the same e-mail about 3weeks ago aswell, im from Belfast are all the assessment days in England? do you think we are too late to work this year? Is anyone else doing Children's Rep?

I applied for TUI holiday advisor 2012 about 3 weeks ago and got an e-mail saying I passed initial screening and they would be in touch when venues were booked for assessment days.
I emailed them this morning asking about what was happening and got this response... Thank you for your email. We have been recruiting for Summer 2012 since September/October and are now reaching the end of our campaign. Candidates who are on hold at the moment will be considered for High Season, as the summer season has already started, so you would need to be available to work until the end of the summer season (end of October). As and when we have confirmation of any final assessment days we will let you know. If you are not successful in getting onto an assessment day for this summer then you would need to reapply for next year when we start recruiting later in the year. Kind regards TUI Travel Recruitment Team So... potentially, we have applied for a job that doesn't currently exist, and not only that but the time we spent filling out the application, was wasted as we will have to reapply next time..Strange. |

Hi everyone!Has anyone got any information on what competency questions will be asked at the TUI Assessment 2012 for Holiday Advisor (Overseas Rep)? I really want to be able to prepare beforehand, but don't know which (and how many) competencies to prepare first! e.g. customer service, team work, problem solving etc!

I had an assessment day today for high season and wanted to clarify some questions if anyone can tell me as I cant seem to find a definate answer on this thread. Is food provided? What does a holiday advisor take home a month after tax?

any tui reps able to answer a few of my questions about assessment day? :D I applied last year as a destination rep and was successful in making it through the day however didn't get a position :( this year im applying for family entertainer and have to perform a 3minute piece, I've a good idea of what I would like to do however unsure whether it'll be allowed due to health and safety and fact it'll take me 5mins to prepare for once my name is called.. Also can anyone give any tips for the gameshow presenter piece as it'll be new to me! :)
