Yes you need white trainers for your casual uniform.  You get both Thomson and First Choice uniform as you might have a hotel that is Thomson and a hotel that is FC.

Airport/welcome meeting uniform is (for men) white shirt, tie, navy trousers and black shoes, casual uniform is t-shirt, navy shorts or combats and white trainers

You CANNOT wear shorts for welcome meetings unless you are a twenties rep!

I bought a big diary today for when I start! I'll probably just buy some pens and that out there! Or rob them from hotel reception :-0

Hi Clare, dont be nervous i know its easy to say but i was petrfied and there was no need to be, honest> first we had to sign in with someone go through all the documents then we went and watched some programmes on tui etc then we had 15mins to write about the things we could bring to tui, experience etc and why we want to work for them and we had to then say it aloud to all ( i had 6 other candidates and then 5 people -who were lovely taking notes) the good thing was u get told over and over there is enough jobs for eveyone so to support each other throughout the day which was nice, then a creative group activity, group presentation, lunch then 1 on 1 interview and again dont be nervous just sell yourself, they are really nice people and the interview was unlike any other friendly and informal you will be fine...good luck and let me know the outcome and just think its one day out of your life to just be yourself and go for it xxx

You definately need a diary and some pens, maybe some highlighters to highlight things on your rooming lists.  You'll need a notepad especially for when you go on the excursions as you need to take lots of notes and then write up your sales pitch and you'll need to write out your welcome meeting speech as well.  You can buy stationary abroad but it's more expensive, just have to decide whether you need the weight in your suitcases.

I envy your interview being so late! You don't have to wait that long when you find out you have the job :-P

Ok great thanks for your help. Think Ive got the idea that be yourself, not too quiet, sell yourself and whatever the presentation is. What do you suggest I wear.? Suit or is that too much?

I wore a suit and tie! You can never be over dressed at an interview! Its the first thing they look at!
