Hello,
So I got my contract through today and it said my wage would be 403 a month. On my original letter it said I would also have 304 living allowance, can anyone tell me what they mean by that?
No one else has asked about this, so I clearly the only one to get confused haha

Hi,
It's basically just for tax purposes. You would get paid £707 per month made up of £403 'wage' (on which you would be liable to pay tax), and £304 'living allowance' which is non-taxable. |

You should query this, as the Companies are all breaking the Employment Laws. The full amount they can make a charge of is £33.74 per week.
They keep it higher so they can actually pay you less!! Query it! |
