Just a list of things to help everyone out, if you think anything has been forgotten feel free to contribute :)

ESSENTIALS:

A few clothes you're prepared to get dirty (incase you do montage/demontage cleans)

Summer clothing

Warm clothing (depending on where you are, the start/end of the season can get cold at night)

Waterproof (prepare for any weather)

Wellies (incase of floods)

Flip flops

Trainers

Plug adapters

Phone charger

Paracetamol / cold&flu tablets

Beach towel

Swimwear

Some form of torch (campsites may not have decent lighting at night)

Pillowcase 

Sleeping bag

iPod + Earphones

Razors

Camera

Sunglasses

Passport

European Health Insurance Card

Driving licence (both paper and card if you plan on hiring a car)

Phrase book

Alarm Clock

Bank Card

Laptop/Tablet for your free time

Rechargeable batteries and charger

Set up internet banking if you haven't already

Condoms

Sanitary Towels / Tampons

 

BUY WHEN YOU GET THERE:

Suncream

Lighter/matches (used to light your stove)

Toiletries

Electric kettle (metal kettle you use on stove can take a while to boil)

Cable Ties (useful for decorating your tent)

Do you (or anyone) know what sort or baggage allowance we get??  Is it just the usual for flying to Europe?

depends which airline, but its usually 20-23kg hold luggage, and 10kg hand luggage, sorry for the late reply, I didn't notice you'd replied Thumbs Up
