hello.
I have just been offered a job with Eurocamp 2016 as a courier. I was just wondering how long it takes to find out which country you will be going to and your dates?

ide also love to get to know some potential camp mates, if there is anyone doing a season this year!:)

Hello,

I just have a quick question regarding Eurocamp courier contracts. From what I can see online they are for either April-Mid September or Mid-July to Mid September.

Are there any contracts that would be June to September?

No June is fine you just put your availability on the application form. I'm doing June - September so you will be fine! Let me know if you need any help :)

Hi,

Thank you for your reply! I was unsure about the length of the holiday courier contracts as it said on the website that the contracts are either for full season April/May-September or half season Mid July-September.

That is great, as June to September is my exact availability :D

I received an email asking me to complete an assessment a few days after I applied, then the day after they told me I had an interview.

The online assessment is just a personality questionnaire - nothing to worry about, just be honest!
The interview involved a group activity, which is farely easy, just one tip.. read the instructions thoroughly and leave the room dead on the time stated (you will understand what I mean when you get there). After that there is your one-to-one interview lasting around 15 minutes. After, you go into a room and pick questions out of a hat and have to answer them in front of the group then thee is just a quick video to watch and they go through everything you need to know. The interview is quite relaxed so nothing to worry about! the whole thing lasts around 2 hours.
Let me know if you get through!!
good luck.

Hey,

I noticed someone asking about the contracts,
You can can get full season contracts or half season contracts.
Half season usually being for people studying

The length of your contract will depend on the site and region you get allocated.

You will get your allocation via E-mail when its ready :P

Hi, I applied to Eurocamp on Sunday night for the position of kids' courier or holiday courier.. I haven't heard anything back yet - did anyone else seem to be waiting a while for a response? Am I informed if I haven't been selected for a job?

Thanks :)

When did you put as the earliest date you are available?
If its sometime in the future then you might have to wait a while as the office will be busy with allocating people to regions ect as the season is begging almost now in some places.
also as a kids courier you wouldn't be going out just yet so that would be something you might have to wait a while for regardless.
They should let you know whether you are wanted or not soon though I would imagine

Hi guys,

I've just been invited to an interview and I was wondering what questions do they ask you in the individual interview and what sort of questions do you pick out of the hat also? Any help would be much appreciated.

Have any of you's received your allocations to where you are going? :)

hey hey.

I went for my interview about nearly a month ago, i got the job :) just waiting for my allocation, praying i hear within the next week, going mad waiting. lol

cant remember exactly but these are what i can remember.
- how do you keep motivated doing a repetitive job, e.g. cleaning tidying?
- you show a customer their accommodation and they not happy with the state its in, what do you do?
- how would you deal with confrontation with your team
and usual questions about customer service, working abroad etc

the hat questions are fun, there things like name capital cities in europe, name your fav holiday/ card game, whats your fav meal you like to cook, whats you fav item of clothing? etc
its actually good way to get everyone involved :)

hope this helps.
good luck
