I have just completed 2 seasons with Jelly and Ice Cream and
I can honestly say it’s been one of the best experiences of my life. I am sad
it has come to an end, the only reason being that I’m signed up to University. But
who knows? I may be back when Uni is over. I decided to do a ski season after I’d come home from
travelling – I wasn’t yet ready to settle down and commit to real life. I had
seen on Facebook that one of my friends from school had completed a ski season,
so I asked her more about it. She had worked for Jelly and Ice Cream for two
winter seasons and a summer and she couldn’t recommend them enough. So, I sent
over my CV. The recruitment process was very smooth, speaking first with
Jamie the Operations Manager and then with Tina, the owner. I knew straight
away this was the company for me. I will be honest and say that some weeks are really hard,
but others are a breeze. The bad weeks become a memory once I have been for a
ski and then enjoyed an après ski! I loved working for Jelly and Ice Cream and
being a nanny. They may not provide accommodation, but this means us having an
hourly wage and this really motivates you to work and be the best nanny you can
be. If you are thinking of becoming a nanny in a ski resort,
Jelly and Ice Cream is the one to work for! |
