That sounds perfect. I plan on arriving late December or very early January and am looking to be there until early to mid march. I am stoked on spending a majority of my time on the slopes and am looking for a place to crash with some fun people and is relatively cheap (350 Euros sounds perfect). Is it possible to send a few photos of the place to my email address (legand-8@hotmail.com) just to get an idea of the what the place looks like.

Cheers

we have two bunks to rent out in a lovely flat in the centre of cham near the slopes.

there is currently me and two girls in the flat and we want to let out the 2nd bedroom which has two bunks in it.

Total cost of accommodation is £10000 between us for 5months

The initial deposit is £600, then the rest must be paid by 1st November (£1400)

We have to pay a deposit of 2000euros in total. 400 euros each. This money covers the bills and taxes at 248 euros a month (inc wifi) and the rest we will get back if there is no damage.

the rent runs from 1st december until 30th april

we have photos we can send and we want to get people sorted asap as the deadline for final payment is looming. please email me sfeaston@hotmail.co.uk for more details.

I am going out to Chamonix over the next cpl of weeks for the season. My accom circumstances all depend on whether I get a job with accom or not- just waiting to hear back from a cpl of applications. What's your situ? When are you going out?

Cheers, Guy

Hey,

If anyone has a room/bed to let for the season, please post here or PM me.

I'm arriving in Chamonix 1st of December (give or take a few days). No job yet. Any advice on that would also be appreciated. I have a working holiday visa.

Thanks!!

I have found accomodation for the season, but I'm still on the hard search for a job. I've had a few offers for only Saturdays, and for extremely intense but short work (40-50hrs/week, but just for a week). Anybody have anything inbetween those extremes for me? A bit more consistent? Any suggestions from others?
Thanks.

For those of you who need somewhere to stay in Chamonix whilst you are looking for a job/accommodation there are beds available by the night at the Vagabond Chamonix Hostel
You may also find me propping up the bar there! Wink

Anyone thing about doing a season next year may want to think about doing a Chalet Cookery Course. These guys are based in Chamonix and will train you up to become a chalet chef or host and even guarantee you an interview for a job afterwards

Hey there, Im in Cham this winter and looking for accom.

I am pretty much intrested in all avenue's weather that it shared accom or solo studio's.

I am a 54 year old lecherous male that smokes alot and cry's himself to sleep every night, after a bottle of whisky or two. Im messy, inconciderate and very un-higenic and I will definatly make unwanted sexuall advances on you and/or you friends no matter what their sex, age or ethnicity. I don't ski, or snowboard, but I do like the odd day on the snowblades.
On the plus side I am telling you straight up what to expect here, you on the other-hand could turn out to be a mentalist, without so much as a warning so I will be very pikky when choosing potential room mates.

So if you need a room mate or know of anything please get intouch with me. dr_cake_eater@hotmail.com

Thank you for reading. Rob Stokes.

Hi Administrator

Myself and two friends would like to come work the 10/11 ski season at Chamonix. We would like to work in ski rental shops or as ski guides but any jobs at the moment will do. Please can you advise me on where to look and apply.

Thanks

Hey im coming to chamonix at the start of January 2010 and looking to leave around the 20th of Feb. I am really struggling top find a job, if anyone knows of any that would be available that would be great. I am looking mainly for an evening job such as bar or chalet work as I am coming over to train for competitions so need to ski during the day when i can. I am training to be a nurse so have a good understanding of people and how to work with and for them. I am also a ski instructor but most instructing jobs have gone now.
If you have any jobs that would suit please email me briar_peters@hotmail.com and let me know!
cheers
