I just got a call from Thomas Cook saying I was successful and will be working as a service rep summer 2019. Anyone else? |

It starts off the everyone registering in, giving your name and handing in passport and documents etc. Then they take everyone into a room and introduce the company with a video and abit of what you do on the job.
Next they split you into groups where you are given scenarios that could happen on holiday and the way you react, you have to decide if it fits into the Thomas Cook values which are "Customer at heart" "Wear their flip flops" and "we are one Thomas Cook" so for example "you find out it is a customer's birthday in your hotel, so you arrange for a card and bottle of wine to be placed in their room" so obviously they are looking out for you discussing ideas in a group Next you have 10 minutes to prepare a 2 minute presentation on a holiday destination. They ask you provide 3 features and 3 benefits of the destination so for example a feature "Included in this amazing trip is coach transfers there and back and free drinks all day" – Benefit of the feature "so that means your getting back to your hotel safely with the Thomas Cook reps and your not missing out on your all-inclusive deal" Next part, they take everyone back into the big room where they go through some of the benefits of working with TC, such as annual leave, expense and they also ask if anyone has any other questions. Final part is a 1-2-1 interview. Nothing to worry about, think it was a total of 3 questions mainly to do with working in a team, and having the customer at heart and so on Hope this helped |

I've been accepted for Thomas cook next year, buzzing! Looking on insta tc_jobs_abroad the contracts, dates and location for the training academy will be released this week. The assessment day was a laugh, really informative and relaxed. I can't wait to get started. Show me the sun 😃 has anyone started a Facebook group? Add me.. Charlie Duffy.
