hey im on same thoughts as u jade, never been 2 ibiza b4 but really wanna go and really like thought of working out there for the summer 09. am also lookin 4 people 2 go wiv as none of my m8s r up 4 it, wat sort of dates u looking 2 go. im thinkn of goin end of june till end of season. iv heard that thers a workers fair in april which is prob a gud idea 2 go 2 as mite help meet people who can sort out jobs. ne way add me on msn if u wanna tlk [email protected]

Yea i worked the season in magaluf last year and Im deffintley going to ibiza next year around may time. Thats the best time to go...so if theres a crowd goin..im there lol...xxx

sounds a plan, im looking at ibiza next year like mate, been looking at the repping jobs but there quite hard to get into so might just go over and find something :D
ibiza runs through the winter aswell apparently just not as busy, so hope 2 get over there for winter and see what the crack is :D

If you have been there, can you please tell us, how much were the living costs (rent etc). And how much you can earn there? Is it easy to find some place to work? Where did you work?
other than that, I am opened for anything :) I have a plan to go to work somewhere (Ibiza sounds great), but I don't have any mates to come with, so I am looking around in the forums. I am available from the 2nd week of June (maybe even from the 1st) until the beginning of September. I am 23 and female! |

I checked on some website and it said you have to fly over to Ibiza and have a look round for a job, I dont wanna do this, I wanna make sure I have a job available for when I get there.. but tell me more about this jobs fair.. I've added you to my msn!

i am also really up for working in Ibiza next year and am going it alone. Only 22 but already my mates are settling down with thier other halfs, getting houses, engaged and getting pregnant, not for me thanx! Looking for people to go over there with, meet up and be roomies! Hi everyone I did the season in Ibiza for the first time this year and it was the best thing i have ever done. I first booked to go on my own cos i finished uni and didnt wanna spend the summer (which ended up a winter....) in the UK. anyway i booked a one way flight and had £2000 saved, i thought see what happens. then about 2 weeks before i was goin 2 of my friends added on and we went out together. got a job easliy selling tickets for clubnights. i got there on the 7th june and there was plently of jobs going as ticket sellers and even PR'n to be honest there was jobs goin all through the time i was there so i wouldnt worry too much. as long as your confident and outgoing you will be sorted. I spent £1000 in the first week wich wasnt a very good idea but most of that was on rent for the apartment, i had to pay 300 euros as a months deposit and 300 for the first months rent so you need id say at least £1000 spending money i had completely run out by the middle of july so had to live on what i made. you get out what you put in really if your willing to work hard then theres the opportunity to see ibiza properly.....for me there was just too much temptation to go out so i wasnt earning that much, but i had a better time not working v.often!!!! it all depends on how good an experince you wanna have really, i know some ppl who took £4,000 and didnt work but then they wernt really involved with the 'worker' experince which is what its all about really. You can get workers passes to some of the clubs it depends how nice your boss is really and how hard you work, if ur doing well and sellin lots of tickets or gettin lots of ppl in the bars then they will be more willin to get them for you. Im not sure if they do passes for pacha and privilege although we applied for our teisto passes which was on a monday and they never came. Space passes apparently you have to be a resident of playa den bossa. you can get eden and es paradis passes quite easily but u have to renew eden 1 every 15 days which is annoying, i just blagged mine most of the time til they took it off me the week b4 i was leaving! umm amnesia has a pass too which is a good one to have as they have awesome night on coocon, cream, armarda etc.
Basically if your thinking about doin a season in ibiza dont....just do it. it will be the best experince you'll ever have and meet the most amazing people in the most amazing place with the most amazing clubs in the world and constant sunshine all summer
I could sit here for hours and hours and talk about how good it is but i dont wanna bore u all!!
