Hi,
I'm totally new to all this, but desperate to do a season in the alps (or US/Canada) during my year out. I think I'd be best off going for chalet assistant as its relatively unskilled and tends to come with accomodation(?) Not sure whether to concentrate on the big tour opeartors or the smaller chalet companies tho. The problem is, although I'm ok at cooking and skiing I'm hardly an expert at either (I mention skiing cos a few people seem to want the hosts to do guiding too). I really want to do this and I'm sure I can brush up on the cooking (and the skiing when I get out there). Also, I have very little work experience full stop and nothing in this sort of area. Can anyone suggest how/where to get started? More specifically, a rough idea of dates to apply for the 2004/2005 season would be handy. Chris. Edited by administrator |
