Well... they sent couiers that never arrived (those that did took off sharpish- they were a couple looking for a cheap way to france i recokon), the ones that stay were being trained by the kids courier (who spent along time beign the only courier and couldn't run the kids club cause of it!) who wasn't getting any extra for all the extra responsiblity and when they were trained they were often moved to a different campsite and the kids courier was left to train new people (if they arrived!). Two french freedom couriers were injuryed and sent to hospital- but had to work the whole time anyway (tho one was jsut being stubbon! :P)
The site as far as I knew was going okay and it wasn't the courier who was at fault.
The area manager really messed them around big time!

Kel Air & Matthews seemed to do well tho.

Ouch that sounds harsh! Makes the stuff I saw seem totally
insignificant!

The area manager for Holidaybreak would often promise the couriers
one thing in the morning to get them happy before they started
cleaning etc, then as soon as arrivals were in she'd tell them that
nothing she promised would happen.
It happened on more than one occasions but culminated in the time
when it was clear the teams on site weren't working, so she told one
Eurocamp courier that he could switch to Keycamp to work with
someone he really got on with, whilst the other Keycamp courier
would go the other way, with one of them being made CIC for
Eurocamp. Instead in the evening they all got verbal warnings for
their poor performance - including the courier who'd been there less
than a week!!!
However, the low point was definitely the evening when one
Eurocamp courier was coughing up blood, feeling really weak and
had serious stomach pains. The area manager and area assistant
were on site so a couple of courier went to see them asking if
someone could take her to the hospital. The area manager was
sitting down to her bithday dinner with friends and the assistant so
asked if they could keep an eye on her and if it got worse to come
and find her. Otherwise someone would give her a lift in about an
hour after dinner.
Two hours later no-one had come, so the ill courier just gave up and
went to bed, whilst other couriers went to find the area manager who
was nicely drunk along with the assistant.
It turned out to be nothing too serious but I thought an area manager
was there to look after the well-being of their couriers.
All this was in contrast to my area manager who one evening drove
100k at 11pm to come and rescue a few of us after we misread the
train timetables coming home from a day-trip to Lyon and did so with
a smile.

114 per week for Keycamp but it goes far. I went out a lot and never worried about money once. I even came back with some savings!
