Hello,

i want to get away this summer and am looking at Kavos.
i am thinking on the lines of booking a holiday and looking to stay out after my holiday is finished. this seems like the general way to find a job.

if any one has any better suggestions or knows anyone in kavos looking for bar staff give me a shout.

cheers Smile

Hey it is really easy to get jobs woteva time in the season u go there is always plenty goin as ppl r always changing jobs or goin home n stuff ... there is loads of workers accomodation n most places are really cheap so u shudnt have any probs finiding sumwer to stay!!

I went on hol on the 20th june last year then stayed to work so i went later in the season n it was still really easy to get a job n found accomodation straight away!!

If you have facebook add me Simone Rayner (Newcastle)

:) xx

Hey all,

Me and my mate really want to go work in Kavos this summer, were both 22 i will finish my degree in may and were looking to go straight out there in May, weve spoken to freind who worked abroard last year and they suggested getting a week package holiday and then finding a job whilst out there but wondered if anyone knew of the best places to apply and what the chances are of definatley finding a job out there, got loadz of questions and were both really up for working the whole summer from may to september, fi anyone has any info or knows what theyre doing with the whole working abroad thing please get in touch!
Thanks Frankie Dead

The best time to go is mid may-early june ... kavos picks up in june so thats usually the best time to get a job but some workers go in may to settle in n have a break before the work starts

The price of workers accomodation can vary the cheapest is about 5 euros and u obviously pay more for bigger rooms and rooms with air con etc .. my accomodation last year was 15 euros a room so worked out 7.50 cos i shared that was wifout aircon but we had two rooms a big kitchen n a nice bathroom with a proper shower haha Tongue

The pay really depends wer u work different places pay different wages and depends what job you do like bar work n waitressing usually pays better than pring but is harder work n longer hours.

Last year i went on hol and stayed there to work i didnt have much money i just got a job and that payed the rent and for the drunken nites ... i actually went home with more money than i had when i started so i'd say take a bit of spends until u get a job but once ur earning u shud be fine.

Hope this helps :)

hi everyone!
me and my friend are hoping to go 2 kavos, or somewhere else in greece - we dont really mind where! from about beginning of june til end of september. anyone know if its possible 2 sort out a job before going or is it better to look when u get over there? how long does it usually take to find a job?? we're a bit worried we might get there and not be able to find jobs!!
