Well its my last week in the office and then off to Italy- hurrah! I am doing anything possible not to do any work this week because I just can't be bothered!!

So I am trying to think of camping chat/questions to distract myself from work but am not doing very well! any good topic starters out there?

Congrats! I'm not jealous at all! I'm finding it really hard to
concentrate at work as well because a lot of the things I'm doing are
preparing the company for the next part of the year after I've left...
and I don't actually care anymore!

As for topics, I've got nothing, but would be happy to talk about
anything as long as it doesn't involve graduate recruitment!

Just reached an all new level of bordem, looked up the weather in Venice on the net and found out its rain and thunder all week!

Hope it gets better for next friday when I go!

If you look on metcheck it doesn't seem too bad for Venice next
week
www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/europe_forecast_7days.asp?
locationID=2392

At least you won't be in Paris next week. On the 26th - which I think
is first Canvas training - the forecast is 0c and snow! Makes
me slightly less disappointed about sitting in my office - at least its
warm!

Hmmmm not too bad, to be honest I would rather be wet and cold than in my office!

Me too! Think I'm telling myself that to keep myself going.

The other day me and my mates finally won our pub quiz which
we've been going to for the last year - it was one of the few things
that I was still up for as I didn't want to leave without winning, but
now we've won...

Don't know how I'll pass the days when it seems almost everyone
else is going out in the next 2 weeks

Yeah that will be tough, sorry didn't mean to make it worse!

I am really looking forward to going but this week is going to drag so much, i am just so fed up with work and have had a very bad attitude today!

Its the same with me. We're really busy and I don't want to leave my
mate who works here in a mess by not pulling my weight, but I'm
finding it hard to be motivated!

At least I'm out of the office for a couple of days next week, then the
week after is our launch when it'll be insanely busy so before too
long it'll be my last week here... I hope!

Just think, this is your last Monday in the office. You won't have
another Monday morning feeling until September/October

Thanks! Yes that is a lovely thought! I am also stressed because my boss is totally doing my head in AND I have to train the person who is replacing me- my totally worst jib as no sloping off to email or surf the net- does make time drag! Still that doesn't start till wed and then only 3 days to go!

I think I may kill some time later by working out how many hours i have got left!

Good plan! Let us know how many it is!

I've started killing time by creating a word document template to use
for a rota during the summer - will print a few off before I leave. Yes
I do realise how sad that is, but its more fun than my work!

Very good idea!! I might sit and do that now! The working out of hours really didn't take very long so I am still bored! I might also write out some of my friends addresses so I don't have to take out my whole heavy address book- I really am bored!

Ooh the address idea is a good one! Plus I've just
remembered I need to reserve part of a bar for my leaving party
(just an excuse to try and get drinks bought for me really! )

Its amazing what you can fill your time with when you're bored

I know! What does your rota look like? I am having a few teething troubles getting mine started!

(Probably as I don't actually really need one!)
