yep, thats what it is at the moment. im not too sure about the recruitment at the moment. they are trying to get everyone qualified, so im not sure if they are still taking unqualified people on. but if you are about to complete your qualification before next april, im sure it will be fine. the summer season isnt over yet, so i wouldnt expect any interviews to take place until about november time. the presentation and maths test are part of the holiday advisor assessment day, so dont worry about that!
yep, im working in mallorca at the moment in puerto pollença. we all have our own apartments about 10 minutes away from the hotel, which i think is the same case wherever you are. places are huge! and you get your own room.
you can do either high season (july/august-september) or a full season (may-october).
PM me and i will give you my name to add me on facebook!
x

hey,

wage at the moment for unqualified staff is about 620 pounds a month. no need to do a maths test for the interview- well that was the case last year when i applied. the interview isnt too terrifying, so dont worry too much!
they will give you a breakdown of whats going to be included, but just be yourself and relax, and im sure you will be fine!

thanks for your answers guys, really helpful!

is it true that if you are sucessful in your first role- you get roles constantly? can you consider this advisor role a permanent job? or do you need to fill in gaps in between two seasons (destinations)?

how long do you usually stay in one destination- 3,4,6 months?

xx

You can go home for emergencies only but you have to pay for your own flights. Once you're out there then you tend to just stay and people come and see you.

hi guys!

i have been reading your posts to find out more about the TUI holiday rep. role as i applied a couple of days ago and am waiting for the assessment date to be advised (which i guess will be 22.05).

i have a question to ask: once the company sends you out to the resort- how many days off a week do you tend to get on average? is it 1? 2? do you manage to fly back to uk for a couple of days within those 6 months?

can someone advise please.

thanks so much! Wink
