Is there such as thing as 'floaters' with HB? I remeber the last camping holiday I went on with my family to Salou and one of the couriers had to go home early due to a family emergancy. This new courier came, and he was telling us that he was a floater and went to any campsite that needed him. Anyone ever done this before? I imagian it must be quite hard as you wouldnt really bond with your co-workers but then again you'd get to see alot of different places!

never known that and nothing on job discriptions for H/B, only prob is you could have alot of just waiting around, but then i have heard that loads of couriers get fired or leave anyway, so i would think H/B would prob have to many couriers knowing a few will be gone soon.

one of the guys on my first site was a floater tho he ended upi just being on our site and the odd day down the road- he was definately not "more responsable' but then he didnt float much so it didnt matter.
i think its a good idea if you have a few sites in the same area but wouldnt want to be going here there and everywhere you would never settle.

HB also have what they call 'Filler' or Gap couriers. They send them out right at the end of july/first few days in August, and you go out for 5 weeks or so. They just send them all to Paris and an AM meets them there and sends them off to the areas where they need more couriers. Again not an advertised position.
