Hi there,

I have travelled to Morzine for the last 5 years for week/ two week holidays. Next year Iam hoping to do my first full season. Iam a qualified chef and have worked in busy kitchens for 7 years and I can also do bar work.

Would be greatful to anyone who can point me in the right direction as I dont really know where to start.

Hi Michael,

Unless your native French I expect you would have a real hard time getting a job in a supermarket or as a dustman in Morzine.

Your best option is to search for local english run companies or contact bars and cafes.

Most jobs are going to be with local chalet companies who will want to interview you before you arrive but you can often pick up plenty of work once you arrive in resort as long as you make yourself known and show your willing and capable. There are often plenty of vacancies in early January...

Good luck
