Alright guys! I'll be heading over to Magaluf in April/May 2014 on my own. Thinking about either booking a cheap hotel in either Magaluf or Palma Nova for 2 weeks or so. Then in that time look for work and accommodation. Or, if anyone would be definitely up for sorting accommodation out before arriving over there then that would be even better! Male or female not bothered. I will be more than likely be booking a one way flight around November time. I'm very adventurous and love deep house! I'm thinking about heading out in end of April - start of May. I'm so confused on pretty much everything from accommodation to job searching basically haha. Think I'm more or less planning on doing the same as you tho, flying out for three weeks and using that time to look for a job. I loooooooove deep house too, I did think about Ibiza but just cant imagine it with it being my first season I'd be back within a week probs haha!

| I think its the best way to do it really, less hassle than going with a company I'd of thought. I thought about Ibiza too but I think that Magaluf is the best place to start? Haha, who knows, maybe you could manage Ibiza! |

Hi guys, I'm also looking at going out to Magaluf next year too. I've always wanted to go travelling and meet new people so deffo need to do it next year whilst I'm still young haha. Also gonna apply to do repping but if I don't make it through and get the job am just going fly out and look for bar work, pr etc. Love Majorca so what better place to do it. Bring on Summer 2014!!

| Hey! I went out to Magaluf this year in April, on my own, to work. It's pretty much really quiet around that time with mostly only workers on the island, so finding a job can be pretty hard as there is so many people going for them at the same time. Most bars usually ask for a 2/3 night trial depending how many tourist there are coming over, which is an absolute joke because you don't get paid for them. I was lucky I got my job on the second day I was there and got paid from then onwards because my manager was lovely but be soooooo careful because they try to rip you off. It isn't all fun and games as soon as you get there, the workers life is completely different to tourist life you wouldn't believe. Do not trust anyone! Everyone is out for themselves out there as most people go over on there own! You would probably only need a few days in a hotel as most apartments are advertised and 99% are £150 deposit and £90 a week! Make sure u view the apartment before u move in though, I had a really nice one but some others I went it was vile, washing machine in bathroom etc. but yea apart from that it'll be the best thing use will ever do x |

| WOOO 2014! I went to maga this summer but only for a few weeks to work, so next year im going to do it properly! Im going out Mid May after Uni exams, I dont have an exact date yet. Im going to try and sort out accomodation before I get there because its cheaper and easier! | my friend went with airpro, they are good, but its so much easier to just go by yourself, or find people on here and go out with them! its honestly not hard to find accomodation or work, theres so much of it out there its unbelievable, when i went out earlier this season i met a couple of people on here and we went out at the same time, it was good :) |

Hey, I'm really interested in working in Magaluf in 2014, it will be me and a friend from home go over. Would you recommend using the companies or is it easier to just book a flight out and do everything over there (ie jobs, accomodation.) I've never worked in Magaluf before but have worked in Tenerife so I have a better of experience. I got back from maga a few weeks ago and I am still buzzing! The
thought of working out there next year gives me something to look
forward too! Has anyone got any advise on where to start and how the
best way to go about it is? I'd quite happily quit my job early April or
whenever to do this! I just think its something you gotta do whilst
you're young! Ive been to Zante and Magaluf so I know quite a bit about
the how the workers work out there. Or if anyone is looking for a fun

I would really prefer to have sorted accomodation and jobs before we go out, does anyone know any websites that advertise jobs in Magaluf, or accomodation? I've sent off a few emails regarding apartments but haven't heard back yet. Me and my friend are more than likely going to head out the first week in April and book a hotel for two weeks, have a bit of fun and look for jobs in the process. Helloooo, so I haven't really though about it but I am certain on going next year. I only have one problem and that is I have no idea what to do when I'm out there. I'm looking for people to share an apartment with and also don't really fancy going it alone. Love all music really but I prefer house/dubstep. Hello so after a few years of trying to get a mate or two to do with this me ive decided im going to finally gonna try and do a full season in maga. Ive been there twice over the years and even though I love Ibiza I dont think it would be a great place to start as a solo worker. So was hoping to meet a few new faces and have a laugh as thats what lifes all about. dont know much about working abroad so if anyone has any tips would be great. After reading some of your posts it looks like going out april/may is the best time. |

| It depends on the job, however having looked at all the costs of living and the average wage it looks like you'll make enough to enjoy yourself! I know a few people who went out as workers and had the time of their lives. The workers we met on holiday were out everynight with us as well. |

I'm 99% positive that the Magaluf Workers 2014 facebook page is a scam. I applied, and got accepted for a place, then they asked for a £50 deposit, guaranteeing me a job and accommodation. I told them I'm looking for specialist work (I'm a deep underground house DJ) and they told me they had 20/30 DJ jobs, but when I pressed them for more info, they stopped replying to emails. I'm 32, so I'm a bit more weary of these sort of things haha. I worked in Ibiza last summer, so I'm assuming it's more or less the same regarding how to get work, just go out there at the start of the season and walk the streets. Hi everyone! I'm Manuela from Italy, I'm 26 and I really want to work in Magaluf next year as a pr! I had a great 10 days holiday this summer and already applied to Magaluf workers 2014, didn't pay the £50 though. I'd like to get over in April after getting my degree to start gradually my season in Maga!  Magaluf Workers and Magalove seem to be the best ways to find the accomodation and a job, and the induction week sounds to be great for new workers to get in touch and to begin party hard! haha.. Has anyone got other news about these companies? As I told you, I'm Italian, so I apologise for every mistake I could have made while writing.. and that I'm going to make next time I reply!!

I applied through magaluf workers - apply through this https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/YWa6416T1f they require a 50 pound deposit to secure your place and pay 400 in January for 4 weeks workers accommodation, the 400 pound can be made in instalments of your choice or one go, hope this helped xx

I got a one way ticket and asked for a job" a LOT of the PR's said this and also said that a lot of the bar managers will point you in the right direction for accommodation etc... i'm DEFINATELY up for it next year! I be in the same boots as you! I'm going out next april and just going to wing it. Gunna get 2 weeks in a hotel then search like sh*t for accommodation and jobs. When I went out last year I asked a lot of people how they got jobs etc... they all said pretty much the same thing..." I got a one way flight and came out and asked for jobs" EVERYONE said that its easy enough to get sorted over there as long as youre fun and bubbly etc... Im definitely going for it! GOOD LUCK! |

Looking to book my flight for last week in April to come over alone. I've not booked any accomodation as yet as was looking to maybe share with someone or get a hotel for a week or two (whatever is best and cheapest).
