With over 4200 skiable acres, Lake Louise is one of the largest ski areas in North America and Canada. It's unique layout allows groups of varying abilities to ski/board together; there are beginner, intermediate and expert runs down from every chair. There is an abundance of gentle slopes and long cruising runs or if your feeling more adventurous you can explore endless chutes, glades, gullies and remote bowls in some of the Rockies' most challenging terrain.

Lake Louise offers a huge playground of exciting terrain , and some of the most perfect piste’s for practicing demo’s and teaching scenarios.

The Telus Terrain Park at Lake Louise is packed with over 30 different features, including over 15 new rails & table tops starting from easy to expert. This a great place to develop your freestyle skiing & boarding & take it to a new level. Located on the Juniper run the terrain park crew are always on hand to keep the park up to date with all the latest toys.

From wide open bowls and tree lined glades covered with fresh, dry champagne powder to meticulous groomed slopes and state-of-the-art snowmaking; you will enjoy incredible scenery and more importantly, short lift lines always at Lake Louise.

Lake Louise has one of the longest ski seasons in North America with resorts open into May and is part of the world famous ‘Big 3’ a group of 3 incredible partner resorts on the doorstep of Banff including Sunshine Village and Norquay.

Banff has a wide variety of activities to fill your evenings too. On tuesday's you can enjoy half price tickets at the local cinema. If après ski is more your thing then Banff is the town for you. Lively bars in town include ‘The Rose & Crown’ and ‘Wild Bills’ where you can enjoy Canadian hospitality at it's best.

Be sure to also enjoy one of the many excursions available whilst in Banff, including incredible ice climbing, dog sledding with huskies or for those adrenaline junkies, snowmobiling.

TRAINING

Lake Louise Snowsport School, one of the most highly qualified schools in the whole of Canada.

The Lake Louise Snowsport School pro’s are highly experienced in training instructors and will provide the expert coaching that will be on offer during the course.

Gap Year Academy students will gain invaluable hands-on teaching experience with the school, enabling them to get a fantastic insight into the working environment of snowport professionals in Canada.

Once qualified , through a gap year programme students will typically be given preferential treatment in the hiring process of the school for the following year, meaning many jobs will be available to those who are prepared to work hard during their training and impress the snowport school management.
