Whistler Blackcomb is continuously ranked the number one ski area in Canada and North America. With an average annual snowfall of well over 10 meters.

Whistler was the home of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and hosted all of the Alpine disciplines on the many superb slopes that the resort is able to boast.

The ‘Symphony Express’  takes you to some of the most spectacular, in-bounds backcountry snow that Whistler Blackcomb has to offer, with epic powder runs be sure to get to the lift early to ensure fresh tracks are had.

Take time out to challenge yourself in one of the 5 terrain parks which certainly have all the hits and features to satisfy even the most demanding freestyler.

Once off the mountain you will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the town. Meadow Park sports centre provides a more than adequate gym, squash courts and swimming pool, its the perfect place to stretch, relax and sooth those muscles in the hot tub.

Whistler also has a 4-screen cinema in the middle of the village, which plays all the latest releases and undoubtedly many evenings will be spent here after a hard day on the slopes.

Trips will be organised to Vancouver to enjoy the sights and sounds of one of Canada’s finest cities. Enjoy the shopping, restaurants and bars that make Vancouver such a vibrant city and huge tourist attraction.

If live sport is more your thing then make sure you join us on one of the regular trips to see live NHL ice hockey games at ‘GM Place’ which was also known during the recent Olympic games as ‘Canada Hockey Place’, it is home to the Vancouver Canucks one of Canada’s most successful and exciting NHL teams. Ice hockey in Canada is almost like a religion and there is certainly no better place to soak up the atmosphere of this sport than at an adrenaline charged game infront of a packed house in Vancouver.

Back up in Whistler with countless bars such as The Crystal lounge, Cinnamon Bear, Merlins & many more you will never be short of Live music & friendly people to party the night away. Whistler also plays host to plenty of nightclubs, whether you prefer a live band, a house DJ or just some funky beats there is something here for everyone. Each Club has its own night of the week and attraction.

The end of the season brings the TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival. This attracts athletes from all over the world & really whips the town to life and is a great way to end the season in Whistler.

TRAINING

Whistler Ski and Board School is the largest in the world employing over 2000 instructors each season.

The school boasts some of the best and most experienced pro’s in  Canada who are always willing to pass on their tips and expertise.

If people who reach the required level and pass the level two course CSIA or CASI courses whilst on a gap year training programme, will typically also receive preferential treatment with the snowsport school for the following year when it comes to them considering new applicants, meaning many students will find themselves being offered work if they wish to return to teach full-time the next year.
