The Campus Manager role is pivotal in orchestrating the seamless operation of our summer programme. As a Campus Manager, you will play a central role in overseeing logistics, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the overall success of our summer school.

STAFF MANAGEMENT:

  • Lead and supervise all support staff. 
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. 
  • Develop staff rotas, optimizing personnel deployment to meet programme demands. 
  • Collaborate with various departments to coordinate the efficient execution of programme activities

GROUP LEADER ASSISTANCE:

  • Cultivate relationships and provide support to agents and group leaders. 
  • Ensure students have the most enjoyable experience possible. 
  • Keep them well-informed and up-to-date on school happenings for a seamless and enriched experience

ENGAGEMENT WITH STUDENTS:

  • Organise and conduct assemblies. 
  • Maintain a visible presence across campus. 
  • Actively participate as a judge in various events. 
  • Present certificates and awards at Graduation.

SCHOOL PROVIDERS COLLABORATION:

  • Collaborate closely with catering and residence suppliers. 
  • Supervise accommodation allocations and maintain accurate records of room assignments. 
  • Ensure student accommodations meet high standards of quality, cleanliness, and comfort, creating an optimal living environment. 
  • Calculate daily catering requirements, maintaining consistently high standards to cater to the diverse needs of our students

COMMUNICATION HUB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all campus-related matters. 
  • Liaise with the Coordinators, staff, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and coordination. 
  • Address and resolve any campus-related issues promptly, including student concerns, facility maintenance needs, and other logistical challenges. 
  • Deal with any behavioural issues

WELFARE AND DISCIPLINE OVERSIGHT:

  • Oversee the logistics of student arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth and well-organised process. 
  • Manage student welfare and disciplinary matters. 
  • Promote a responsible attitude among both students and staff. 
  • Address issues and handle emergency situations promptly and effectively, demonstrating leadership in maintaining a secure and compliant campus environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in a management role at a summer school.
  • Prior experience in event planning, logistics, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

PAY AND HOURS OF WORK:

Campus Managers are scheduled for 18 sessions per week, and two meal times daily. Each day is divided into three sessions — morning, afternoon, and evening variable shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends. Pay starts £700 per week, inclusive of food and accommodation.
