Childcare Manager

As Childcare Manager, you’ll lead our resort childcare team, ensuring our youngest guests are safe, happy, and well cared for. You’ll combine hands-on involvement with confident leadership, maintaining high standards while supporting your team to deliver fun, engaging, and safe childcare.

You’ll be the main contact for both staff and parents, so clear communication, a calm presence, and a positive approach are essential. This role suits someone with strong childcare experience ready for leadership, or a proven team manager with a passion for working with children.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support your childcare team to maintain a safe, professional, and positive environment
• Oversee daily routines, activity delivery, hygiene, and safeguarding practices
• Be the main liaison for parents, addressing any concerns with care and professionalism
• Ensure your team has the resources and support they need to succeed
• Hands-on childcare with your Team
• Identify and implement improvements to childcare delivery
• Communicate regularly with the Resort Manager and Operations team
• Support the wider resort team when required

Who We’re Looking For

You’re an approachable, confident leader with strong organisational skills and a love for working with children.

Essential Attributes

• Experience leading teams and/or working in a professional childcare setting
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
• Confident planning and organisational abilities
• A childcare qualification is highly desirable
• Hospitality experience is a bonus

Requirements

• EU or UK manual driving licence (preferred)
• Recent DBS or equivalent background check (we can help)
• Proficient spoken English
