POSTED ON 09 Feb 2024
job Details

Lex is hiring City Managers (Student Coordinators) to manage pre-law study abroad programs this spring/summer of 2024. The Student Coordinator will be assigned to a city in Europe or USA:

ES: Barcelona, Madrid & Valencia

IT: Genova, Milan & Rome

France: Lyon

USA: Washington DC

UK: London

The Lex Fellowship is an experiential education program in which cohorts of undergraduate pre-law Fellows visit different law firms and legal entities of various sizes and specialities to consider whether law school is the right next step for them. Additionally, the fellows receive Legal Training Sessions from a Legal Associate and engage in the cultural activities: meals & excursions organized by the City Manager. Lex was founded to educate pre-law students on various legal practice areas and equip them to make well-informed decisions about their future career paths while enjoying the study abroad experience in the group.

The Lex operations team develops international programs for college and university students across the United States on the pre-law track. These programs vary in duration, location, and activities in cooperation with law firms and legal institutions across Europe and the US (DC). Our mission is to equip the next generation of lawyers to pursue their callings passionately by engaging in the experiential study abroad program where they can learn from law professionals and discover various legal fields.

In addition to Lex, our organization runs similar educational programs under the name of Beacon and Atlantis Service Research Projects. In these programs, a cohort of 10-20 pre-medical and/or pre-business students participate in a consultancy project for a host healthcare or business organization, while they are led and mentored by an experienced consultant Project Leader. The mission of these programs is to better equip students in their career choices and university applications, be it in the healthcare or business fields. Depending on location and programs’ availability, some candidates will be offered a City Manager role in one of these programs, in which case further information will be provided during or after the application process.
