Paid Groom / Horse Care Role – Australia (Stud Farm Placement)

Location: Sydney + Regional New South Wales, Australia
Job Type: Full-time paid position (3–12 months)
Start Dates: Year-round (arrival on Sundays)
Eligibility: Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417 or 462), aged 18–35
Horse Experience Level: Intermediate or above

About the Role

Are you passionate about horses and looking for a paid role overseas? This opportunity places you directly into a pre-arranged groom / horse care position at one of Australia’s top stud farms or rural equine facilities, organised before you leave home. You’ll work hands-on with horses in a professional environment and gain real industry experience while being supported every step of the way.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Daily grooming, feeding, stable duties and general horse care
• Supporting stud operations under experienced equine professionals
• Assisting with health checks, foal watch and yard routines
• Living and working as part of a close-knit team on-site

Candidate Requirements

• Intermediate horse-handling or riding experience
