RYA Cruising Instructor

Dubai Offshore Sailing Club is looking for a skilled and motivated RYA Cruising Instructor to join our team. This is a key role in delivering exceptional sailing training, mentoring students, and ensuring compliance with RYA standards while supporting the smooth operation of our cruising programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver RYA-accredited and club-specific courses to the highest standard.
• Ensure the safety and upkeep of training yachts (maintenance, compliance, and presentation).
• Maintain RYA compliance and uphold safety for students, staff, and equipment.
• Provide outstanding customer service and represent DOSC professionally.
• Collaborate with the Chief Instructor and Sailing Centre Manager, supporting additional initiatives when required.

Qualifications & Skills

• RYA Cruising Instructor with commercial endorsement (essential)
• RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore with commercial endorsement
• Valid First Aid Certificate & ENG 1 Medical
• VHF Operator’s Licence
• Strong knowledge of RYA training schemes and safety standards
• Basic yacht maintenance & troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
