Are you a sales professional with an interest in Skiing and Summer Activities? Do you want uncapped, realistic and achievable targets with OTE of £30k per annum? Alpine Elements has a small, dedicated sales team so you can achieve targets and earn commission. Our sales team staff retention is extremely high, demonstrating our passion for developing the skills and experience of our sales team through our one-to-one training and induction programme. This is a great remote working permanent position, either from the UK or abroad, with a 37.5 hours a week UK contract. Commission/ hours will vary with a French contract, but can be discussed at interview.
As a sales consultant, you will be the first point of contact for our potential customers, so first impressions are key! Building holiday packages, you will maximise sales by identifying our customers’ requirements. Maintaining relationships with clients, recommending suitable options, and providing support, information and guidance are key elements of this role. You will be responsible for maximizing the usage of rooms in our chalets and hotels, coordinating the bookings of full week, midweek, and weekend breaks. Most clients’ requirements will request researching and developing a set of options, and every sales enquiry is treated as unique. The ideal candidate will be someone passionate about delivering outstanding customer service with a ‘can do’ attitude, able to work with tailor-made bookings and driven by targets.
What You Will Be Doing?
Day to day you will:
o Reply to phone and e-mail holiday enquiries.
o Identify options suitable for the customers’ enquiries and send quotations via Sales Interface
o Tailor packages according to potential customers needs and requirements.
o Sell all extras, such as lift passes and ski hire.
o Load bookings into the company’s reservation system, including any extras added onto the package.
o Assisting customers from point of booking to their holiday departure
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
o Be the central point of contact & knowledge, representing the company in a professional, cordial, and helpful manner over the phone and via e-mail.
o Identify options suitable for the customers’ enquiries and send quotations via Sales Interface
o Monitor customers’ feedback and nurture leads to maximise sales conversion.
o Ensure that all enquiries are looked after and cross sell, when possible, in case our offers don’t match the exact holiday specification.
o Report any discrepancies found on the company website.
o Load bookings into the company’s reservation system, including any extras added onto the package.
o Ensure safe and secure handling of payments taken through the company’s operational system.
o Maximise the sales of all extras, such as lift passes and ski hire for our winter programme, and bike hire and activities for our summer programme.
Person Specification
You will have ideally a minimum of one-year, full time, experience of Telephone, Face to Face and Targeted sales work, and have a passion for all things mountains and ski.
