The Position
We are looking for a highly motivated, organised and hands-on practical individual to lead our seasonal Pop-Up events. This responsible role will involve coordinating pop-up teams and ensuring vehicles and activations are set up to the highest standards to ensure the best customer experience. This role will suit an individual with strong creative DIY skills, a high level of attention to detail and a commercial mindset. Applicants must have the ability to act independently and be proactive at problem-solving. The successful candidate will be a vital part of our small team and at the heart of our business


👩🏼‍💻General Responsibilities

  • Creative input into pitch design adhering to brand image.
  • Set up and take down pitches. - Many stands will need onsite construction.
  • Organising & general maintenance of all pop-up vehicles and resources. 
  • Managing inventory for all pop-up events.
  • Manage our logistics partners to ensure stock dispatches are accurate and on time. 
  • Managing sales KPIs and attainment of targets.
  • Strong understanding of product margins & data analysis.
  • Attend weekly management meetings and complete trackers.
  • Providing innovation and support to the Pop-Up teams. 
  • Seek continuous improvement in the pop-up events team.
  • Strong understanding of technology for optimal performance. 
  • Reconcile stock with daily monitoring of stock reports and physical stock takes at start & end of the event, including hanging stock.
  • Deliver customer satisfaction by ensuring end-to-end customer experience.
  • Ensure training & safety checks are completed for the Pop-Up Teams and any contractors supporting the events.  
  • Support the overall events business plan. 
  • Risk assessments completed for all events.
  • Ensure security practices preserve assets and minimise liabilities
  • Ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures at all times.

 

Essential Criteria Required:

  • Proficient DIY skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate people. 
  • Full clean driving licence. 
  • Ability to drive long distances 
  • Willingness to travel independently
  • Construction and Joinery 
  • Key Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy & quality.
  • Confidence using a wide variety of technology and software – such as Shopify & Apple iOS
  • Ability to work flexibly and long days. 
  • WIllingnbess to sleep on the location site if required.
  • Highly motivated and resourceful mindset.
  • Use of initiative when met with challenges. Ability to troubleshoot & seek solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet timescales.
  • Excellent practical & people skills.

⏰ Schedule: 

  • Main events season May to September 
  • Flexible working on weekends and out of hours during ‘pop-up events’ season.
