Role Purpose
Reporting to the Childcare Manager or Team Leader, you'll provide brilliant care and action-packed entertainment for children aged 5-13, through a variety of sports-focused activities in a safe, hygienic, and exciting setting. From wall climbing to water sports, you'll be the one turning "I'm bored" into "best holiday ever!"

Responsibilities
Your motto? ‘Nothing is too much trouble!’ You’ll work hard and have fun with responsibilities including: 

Leading the Activities

• Plan and deliver an action-packed, age-appropriate activity programme, bursting with variety and excitement.
• Get stuck in and supervise activities such as wall climbing, high ropes and water sports.
• Two nights a week, host our 'Stargazers' evening service with entertainment followed by a movie night.
• Help your teammates with the younger children on occasion when needed.

Keeping Standards High

• Be the reason a child’s holiday becomes their ‘best one ever’ – delivering the high standards of service Scott Dunn is known for.
• Keep all club equipment in good condition.
• Supervise mealtimes, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Keep sharp, accurate records of plans, routines, and incident/accident forms.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures to guarantee a smooth-running operation.
• Keep parents in the loop with friendly, regular updates on their child's wellbeing and holiday highlights.

Being a Team Player

• Build great working relationships with your team, Team Leader, Childcare Manager and Hotel Staff.
• Bring a flexible, can-do attitude, stepping in to support your team where needed.
• Be prepared to travel and work across different resorts if needed — a great chance to explore and experience new destinations.

About You

You’ll need to be

• Passionate about working with children and young people aged 5-13.
• A proven team player, self-motivated and confident.
• An excellent communicator – professional and approachable when talking with guests.
• Organised, proactive and professional.
• Outgoing and fun, bringing energy and enthusiasm to everything you do.
• A strong swimmer, confident taking children in the water.

Essential Experience

• Experience working with and leading groups of children.
• Capability and willingness to work in sole charge of children.
• Health and safety conscious, with a knowledge of safeguarding practices.
• Confident swimmer.

Desirable Attributes

• Childcare qualifications or experience in a sports or sports coaching role.
• Additional languages
• Full clean EU driving license
• Paediatric first aid qualification

Good to Know Before You Apply:
This role runs for the peak season, June - September.
You must be a resident in Greece, Portugal or Croatia or have dual nationality to be eligible for a contracted role.
Holders of EU passports are also welcome to apply on a self-employed basis.
A current criminal background check / DBS certificate is required. If you don’t already have one, you’ll need to obtain it before arriving in resort.
